We are a couple offering gastronomy experiences on local food in our house, sharing the knowledge of making our typical pasta (Orecchiette, Cavatelli, Strascinati, Maccheroni and others), cooking local recipes with seasonal ingredients, making cheese and dancing pizzica-pizzica.

OUR HISTORY. Our journey as sharing our home, began some years ago after moving to live in a charming area in the countrysides of the center of Puglia, in Ceglie Messapica. After years spent abroad for work, we decided for a more relaxed way of living with auto-production of our food and revitalizing the knowledge we both learned from our families. Old memories coming back to life.
Here, in Ceglie Messapica, we live in a trullo, sharing our way of living with our guests, cooking and eating the food we produce: cereals, carrots, potatoes, artichokes, cime di rapa, chicory, tomatoes and other seasonal vegetables, olives and olive oil, fruits (figs, almonds, pomegranate, pears, apples, cherries, mulberry, grapes), for an authentic cuisine, the same handed down by generations.
The land. Naturally rich of lemon balm officinalis, calendula, dandelion, lemongrass and wild chicory, we are implementing the presence of aromatic plants, like thyme, lavander, mint, rosemary, marjoram and other classical aromatic like pepermint, basel, sage. And we are letting populate the land with some local bushes or trees, like the blackthorn and the lentisk. Obviously, following an organic production
DANCE EXPERIENCE
Tarantella and pizzica-pizzica are the Puglia typical dances. In this experience, a dance session of one hour to learn the basic steps. You’ll be able to dance it along your journey in the region.
CHEESE MAKING
Experiencing how to make a traditional cheese or a mozzarella and stracciatella laboratory
SHARED PASTA MAKING & COOKING CLASS
All in one session is a workshop of local pasta making: Orecchiette, cavateli, maccheroni, fusilli, spaghetti (spaghettini, spaghetti ristorante n° 5 and spaghetti alla chitarra) with a cooking class, preparing and cooking together commonly 2 local recipes.
